Contemporary living inside an olive grove

The project covers the architectural design and the ongoing construction of two twin holiday residences with private pools in Agios Thomas, near Preveza. The development sits in a distinctive natural setting of roughly four thousand square metres, inside a mature olive grove, where the architectural approach was based on settling gently into the landscape and respecting the natural geometry of the plot.

Autonomy within a single composition

The composition is organised around the idea of “twin” residences, where each unit keeps its autonomy while belonging to one design whole. The siting secures privacy, correct orientation and a direct relationship with the surrounding grove, creating conditions of calm and seclusion.

The pool as part of the composition

Particular emphasis was placed on the relationship between interior and exterior, with the private pools forming an organic element of the architectural composition rather than a simple addition. The design makes use of natural light and of the sightlines out towards the landscape, strengthening the experience of living there.

Currently in construction

Our company has completed the architectural study and is now in the construction phase, realising the composition step by step to a high standard and in keeping with the original design intent.

The project is a characteristic example of contemporary holiday architecture within a rural landscape, where simplicity of form meets functionality and the natural beauty of the surroundings.
